Getting to Monaco

The International Society for Fracture Repair is pleased to welcome you to Osteoporosis: From Evidence to Action taking place in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

There are many ways to get to Monte Carlo.

FROM NICE AIRPORT TO MONTE CARLO

Getting TO/AROUND: Aéroport – Monte Carlo – Menton Direct par Autoroute (N° 110)

DEPARTURE: Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 – stand 2

FARE: 14,40 Euros (one way), 10 Euros (students under 26), 40 Euros (one way for a group of 3/4 persons).

TRAVEL TIME: 45 mn

Departs everyday, every one hour from 9 AM to 8 PM, and at 9H15 PM.

FROM NICE AIRPORT TO NICE GARE SNCF

Getting TO/AROUND: BUS LINE: 99 – Aéroport – Gare SNCF

Departs from: Terminal 2 – quai 4. Terminal 1 – quai 1

Rate: 4 Euros (The ticket allows unlimited travel during 1 day on any Ligne d’Azur bus routes).

Total trip time: Around 20 minutes depending on the traffic.

FROM NICE GARE SNCF CENTRAL TO MONTE CARLO

Nice Gare SNCF Central
Regular trains take you from Nice to Monte Carlo in only twenty minutes.

Two types of trains – mainline trains like TGV are a bit quicker since they do not stop as much as the local train does. The price of the latter is a little higher and there is a mandatory reservation

By train: International train service. Railway station linked to all the large European cities to which the high-speed TGV train travels (7h from Paris).

By plane: Nice Cote d’Azur international airport is located 20 km from the hotel.

Transfers take only 30 minutes by taxi or 7 minutes by helicopter.

The Helicopter: It takes less than 10 minutes. A car will wait for you at the Heliport in Monaco to drive you thought the Congress venue. It costs € 210 / person / round trip

Taxi: It takes about 30 minutes if there is no traffic. The price is € 180 / person / round trip.

By car: the Principality is linked up to France via the A8 motorway, as well as to all the main European cities.

FROM FRANCE

From Nice, via A8 motorway, follow direction Menton, Monaco. Take exit n 56 Monaco, Cap d'Ail, Beausoleil. After the tunnel, follow direction Monaco for 10 km. In Monaco, follow direction Monaco _Ville.

At the traffic light (rue de la Colle), go left towards Monte Carlo. After the tunnel, you are on the boulevard Albert I (see map).

At the end of boulevard Albert I, at the crossroads, go right towards Forum Grimaldi. The Port Palace Hotel is located 200 m on your left hand side and our valet parking is at your serviceto park your car.

FROM ITALIA

From Ventimiglia, via A 10 motorway called laquo; Autostrada Dei Fiori raquo;, follow direction Menton, Monaco, Nice. In France, via A8 motorway, take exit 58 Monaco, Beausoleil.

Follow the road downhill with a superb view over Monaco on your left. Then follow the signs to Monaco and take direction to arrive at the main harbour called Port Hercule.

The Port Palace Hotel is located 200 m to the tunnel and our valet parking is at your service to park your car.
