Instructions for Abstract Submission

We are pleased to accept abstracts on basic and clinical aspects of fracture repair and outcomes research including topics on hip fracture, spine, wrist fractures,osteoporosis, systematic reviews, validation studies as well as on biomechanics and biology of fracture healing.

Abstracts must contain presenting author underlined with corresponding author’s full contact details including email address and telephone number.

General topic: Basic science/Clinical research/Outcomes research
Keyword: choose 4 main keywords that best describe your study.
example: hip, wrist, spine, osteoporosis, systematic review, outcomes, measurement
Award: please indicate if your presenting author qualifies for the Young Investigator’s Award (Age < 40 years old)

Mode of presentation: Eligible for Oral/poster/both

Length of abstract submission can not exceed 250 words.

Authors must include: Introduction, Methods/Materials, Discussion and Conclusion.

Deadline for abstract submission is March 31st, 2010. Notice for acceptance will be by end of April. Additional authors may not be added following acceptance, and presenting author must be registered for inclusion of abstract in programme.

The abstract template is provided to authors, the text cannot exceed 250 words but may contain tables and figures that cannot exceed one page in length. Please submit with Arial or Times New Roman Font Size 12 not double spaced. The title of your abstract is preferred in capital letters.
